How To Help
   You Can Pray:
  • For young people who live in families that resist their spiritual development in Christ.
  • For families who are struggling to provide the basic necessities of food and shelter.
  • For the volunteers needed to help us confront the challenge of almost unlimited need.
  • For the facilities needed to conduct these important ministries of food and clothing distribution, and particularly the places needed to meet with young people where they feel secure and willing to open themselves to the Gospel message.
   You Can Give:
  • Support is needed to purchase Bibles and other teaching materials.
  • Staff needs support so that they can give full-time to the ministry.
  • Rent payment on simple facilities in needed communities from which the ministry is conducted is also needed.
  • Funds are also needed to cover the cost of purchasing and distributing food, medical and other care items for needy families.
Gifts of support can be sent to Compassionate Youth Ministry:
Make a Short Term Mission Visit to Ethiopia:
  • By visiting our ministry in Ethiopia you can have a first hand look at what God is doing in the lives of these children, youth, and families. You could spend a couple of weeks, or more visiting families with us, participating in youth meetings, helping to distribute food or clothing to families, or just being a caring friend to children in the communities where we work. We will help to provide a place for you to stay and introduce you to an exciting ministry and a very interesting and caring Ethiopian culture.
   Provide Sports Equipment:
  • Soccer balls, uniforms (good used uniforms are OK), and tennis shoes, are needed to provide the sports programs in various communities. These sports programs are a wonderful way to engage in the lives of the young people, to teach sportsmanship and other important life skills.
  • Craft materials. With a serious deficiency of available craft materials we are always looking for additional items that can be used in children’s activities and programs.
